Harbour Air · Coal Harbour to Victoria Inner Harbour
A scheduled Harbour Air flight from downtown Vancouver to the Inner Harbour in Victoria, over Stanley Park, the Salish Sea and the Gulf Islands. It turns a ferry day into about 35 minutes and lands you a short walk from the Parliament Buildings.

Harbour Air flies between the two downtown harbours all day, and this listing sells one seat on a scheduled flight. You take off from Coal Harbour, pass over Stanley Park's Brockton Peninsula and the Lions Gate Bridge, cross the Salish Sea and the Gulf Islands, and land in Victoria's Inner Harbour. The Viator listing gives about 35 minutes and a range of departures throughout the day.
It is the most expensive listing on this site at $356 one way, and you are paying for time. BC Ferries' crossing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay takes about 1 hour 35 minutes before you add the drive at each end; one guest put the whole ferry trip at three hours. Here you go downtown to downtown. Our Vancouver to Victoria by seaplane guide compares the two in detail.
Two limits. Baggage is capped at 25 lb (11 kg) per person, purses included, with extra weight at $3 per lb if there is space. And it is one way: book the return separately. The flight is weather dependent; one 2024 reviewer was held for a weather delay rather than cancelled, so leave slack on a tight day.

★★★★★It was a smooth flight. The sun was shining and the views were spectacular. The check in went quickly. Get there early so that your bags are taken down to the plane and stowed by the employees. Otherwise you have to carry them down the gangplank and to the plane yourself.
★★★★★Flying in a seaplane was one of the highlights of our trip. Flew from Vancouver to Victoria. The flight saved us time (ferry and transportation from ferry terminal to Vancouver takes 3 hrs,). Seaplane is convenient and fun.
★★★★★Very easy process to check in and board. Friendly pilot. Smooth take off despite some waves.
